MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT, JANUARY 2018
In the months ahead, you will be hearing a lot of discussion about Janus. Many of you are hearing this for the fist time as you read this message. In short, Janus aims to limit the freedom of working people to join together in unions. It will attempt to make it more difficult for workers to join together for the purpose of collective bargaining. It will also fail to protect your salary, pensions and rights in the workplace. I will be updating our membership quite often on the terrible risks that we are facing. Stay vigilant.
