MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT, OCTOBER 2021
Dear Members,
I find myself writing too many sad messages during my time as TAL President. This month will be no different.
Anne Wishniak was loved by all who knew her. Her positive outlook and dedication to the Lindenhurst community is an example to us all. She was also a very proud member of the Teachers' Association of Lindenhurst.
I vividly remember the trips that I would take to the third floor of the middle school when I was the head building representative many years ago. I would always look forward to visiting Anne and her team of teachers when they were on their lunch break. We laughed about many things. We laughed about current events. We laughed about our profession. But most importantly, we laughed about life. That is what Anne would bring out in all of us. Laughter, and a love for life, regardless of the current situation that we may find ourselves in. She will be missed by us all.
