MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT, MARCH 2023
It has become necessary to bring to your attention our contract language regarding assaults against teachers.
Article XV, A: The Lindenhurst School District will not tolerate assaults or threats of assaults against its teachers. The individuals involved in the assault or threatened assault of Unit members will be dealt with to the full extent of the law, and to the full extent of the District's disciplinary procedures.
Please notify a building representative immediately if you are assaulted by anyone during the course of your responsibilities. This includes, and is not limited to, students.
