MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT, MARCH 2020
Old school is a term that has been used to describe many different personalities. It is typically used to describe a person who is uncompromising in their beliefs. A person who commands respect by their actions. It defines integrity, and for many years, it has undoubtedly defined integrity for Roy Cuneo.
Whether Roy was teaching in his classroom, delivering an RTAL report, or questioning TAL’s assistance for teachers on strike across the country, Roy was unwavering in his determination. He made no apologies for being adamant, because he knew that he was correct. He was completely unselfish and has deserved every honor that has ever been bestowed upon him. Our events and meetings will never be the same without him. We will miss him terribly.
It is comforting to know that he is at last with his family once again. In solidarity, Roy. We love you, and we will always honor your memory.
