MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT, FEBRUARY 2020
February is historically a contradictory month. It contains our Winter Break. It also includes a groundhog announcing an early spring, and includes the beginning of baseball's spring training. Is it too soon to think about the warm weather?
With the warm weather quickly approaching, we members of your negotiating team are working tirelessly on a contract settlement. As you all know, our current contract expires at the end of this school year. Although we are hopeful, I ask that you all prepare for any eventuality. I will continue to report on our progress at our Central Council meetings.
